The Holdrege Division of Creston Fertilizer began in February 2000.

Vernon Nelson - Vernon and his wife, Marvel, have lived and farmed in the Holdrege/Loomis, Nebraska area all their lives. Vernon is on the Board of Directors for the Phelps County Historical Society. He also is serving as the co-chair for the Land Committee for the Three State Cooperative Agreement which protects habitat and water resources. Vernon and Marvel also have an antique shop. Chris Nelson - Chris is Vernon and Marvel's only son. Chris lives in rural Loomis and has been farming with his dad since he could walk. He also has an arcade business, Score One Games. You can visit his website at www.scoreonegames.com.
